The
truth is, the majority of mankind’s diet
for most of human history has been a vegetarian
or near-vegetarian
diet.
Many
people, especially here in the Southern United States,
often say,
“what
do you think people have been doing for thousands of
years?”,
“where else you gonna get your
protein from?”,
“you gotta die
from something”,
etc, etc, etc.
The
following information will help you understand why
these common responses show people’s ignorance
of the real benefits of a meat-less diet.

“what
do you think people have been doing for thousands
of years?”
Or
another
favorite cliché you gotta love is “ what
do you think we did in the wild?”
Do you live
in the wild now? And eating
a chili cheese quadruple mac in your Subaru Outback
is not considered the wild.
Would you be willing to
kill
an animal
with your bare hands? To eat its flesh raw? Stomach
and innards first of course, because that’s how
it’s
done in the wild by animals actually born to eat
meat.
Even
if people have been eating meat for thousands of years,
it doesn't matter. That's because
people act by
ideas rather than instincts. Wild animals are programmed
to know what food is; we are not. For humans it's
a learned and sometimes guessed behavior.
We make choices everyday about what we should eat
even if it's not good for our health. This is proved
by
millions everyday
when they eat at junk-food chains like McDonald's.
If
our ancestors ate meat it was because they were only
making choices
rather
than acting on instinct.
Do you
believe that cavemen were the true experts about
nutrition?
If
you do, then what other major decisions about your
life would you like cavemen to decide for you?
“where
else you gonna get your protein from?”
Vegetarians
that have a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, grains,
and legumes are getting a lot of good protein . Vegetables,
green leafy ones, are rich in calcium.
A lack of calcium
leads to weak bones and osteoporosis. Vegetarians
suffer less from these and most other "Western" ailments.
When
you eat meat, how long do you think it stays in your
digestive system? Meat is essentially rotting in your
gut for around 4 days while it waits for passage. During
this time your body is absorbing all the cholesterol
and saturated fat that meat contains.
Red meat can stay with
you for much longer- months and even years later.
Colon
therapists have found meat remains in people who have
been living as a vegetarian for 20 years!
“you
gotta die from something”
This
is very true. But what's the rush? And why die for nothing?
Why not die for something important, like love, freedom,
or world peace?
Considering one’s
own health is top priority in this world of “the
survival of the fittest”.
Heart disease, cancers, among many other illnesses are
regularly
effecting the lives of Americans, and for the most
part are considered “Western” or
"American" diseases.
To
consider the huge amount of money that is being made
off of
our vastly growing deteriorating health conditions
is a real eye popper.
Think of the
agriculture industry in the United States. How
would it be effected if
Americans were suddenly to go vegetarian? How would
the medical
industry in the US be effected if everyone decided
that eating meat was no longer fashionable? And the
prescription drug industry? And the fast-food industry?
And the weight loss industry? Etc? etc? etc?
We are what/who we eat and who
we support. We are where we eat and the cleanliness
of the bathrooms/kitchens of the places we eat.

TEETH
SHAPE & SIZE
- The
teeth of a carnivorous meat eater are long and pointed
for tearing through freshly killed meat.
- Herbivores
have small “canine” teeth
for biting into tough fruit such as apples. They
are
nothing compared
to meat-eaters teeth.
- Humans
have blunt flat teeth compared to meat-eaters. It would
be nearly impossible to rip into a freshly
dead animal with our little flat stubs.
JAWS
FUNCTIONS & MOVEMENT
-
The Jaws of a carnivore only move up and down, NOT
side to side. this is because they don’t
chew, they tear meat and swallow it whole.
- Herbivores
jaws move up and down and side to side to
grind up vegetation and start the digestive
process.
- How does your jaw move?
TYPE
OF INTESTINES
-
Meat eaters have short intestinal tracts and colons
that
allow meat to pass through the body relatively
quickly,
before it has a chance to rot and cause illness.
- Humans
and herbivores have intestinal tracts that are
much longer than meat eating carnivores.
- Longer
intestines allow the body more time to break down
the food and absorb the minerals and nutrients
from a
vegetarian diet.
LACK
OF PORES
-
The
meat-eaters of the animal kingdom do not have pores
to sweat through. Instead, they perspire through
the tongue.
- Herbivores and humans both do have pores. Yes, the
evidence is clear.
I
could go on into how meat eating carnivores have
different Salivary Glands, Stomach acid, Enzymes and
what not
and so forth...and on...and on...and on...
Yeah, I could go on about this all day about how these things are different
than a herbivore or human, but that would start to get boring. Right?

I'm
not telling you to stop eating meat completely, because,
for one, if you do not know how to change your diet-
you can't. First learn and then make
changes a little at a time.
For instance,
trying out a new vegetarian dish for dinner once a
week would help slowly convert you and your family.
Then, one by one, you can add a new healthy hearty
satisfying vegetarian dish until you have one for every
night of the week.
You
will notice that you and your family are looking and
feeling better, and better, without having to exercise
like
a mad-man
to maintain a perfect weight.
I have included one
for you to try out here and
I'll try to add some more in the future.
As
for me, over past
8 years I have cut out all meat from my diet except
for the occasional poultry and fish. I find
that mushrooms, avocados, beans,
and quinoa are good
substitutes for meat.
Besides cutting most
of
the animal
products from my dietary habits, I also do not consume
anything that has hydrogenated oils or high fructose
corn syrup.
I have also been eating only All Natural
Food Products for almost 3 years.
Remember, “what
you don’t know can kill you” and
you’ll never realize that it was that one unhealthy
recipe handed down through the generations of your
family
that is
the sole reason for your families history of death
and illness.
It’s no joke. It’s your
health and you should fight to eliminate the politics
and profiteering
when it comes to to the longevity of your families.
